NYSPMA Continues Work on Business Law Change

The Legislative Committee has been advancing legislation to allow business partnerships between DPMs and MD/DOs, which are not currently legal under NY law.   Over the past several months, NYSPMA has been participating in the deliberations with a coalition of Title 8 medical professions discussing an omnibus bill to achieve that effort.  The bill language has been finalized and the coalition is currently seeking sponsors in the NYS Senate and NYS Assembly.
