NGS Offers Recommendations for Prepayment Audits

National Government Services’ Medical Review Department continues to conduct service-specific prepayment reviews for JK Part B podiatrists (Specialty 48) in Downstate and Queens, NY on claims billed with CPT codes 99348-99350, Home Visits. 

This article includes the results of that review for January, February and March 2015 as well as recommendations to help providers submit these types of claims correctly.
If members have appealed a home visit and got denied, please send the documentation in the form of an insurance complaint for our review.
