2016 Residency Placement Status Update
The American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine (AACPM) provides periodic status reports on residency placements from Match Day through the end of June. Below is the final residency placement data for the 2015-2016 residency cycle. The following is residency placement data as of June 30, 2016:

Prior Year Applicants: Class of 2015, 2014 and previous Years
Placed in Residencies 17 (84.2%) for 2015, 10 ( 66.7%) for 2014, 11 ( 40.7%) all previous years
To Be Placed 3 (15.8%) for 2015, 5 (33.3%) for 2014, 16 (59.3%) all previous years
When taking overall placements into consideration, 576 (92.6%) of the 622 residency applicants have found residency positions thus far this year. There are 46 (7.4%) applicants that have yet to find a residency position for the 2016-2017 training year.
