Non-CECH Sponsored Workshop
From Trial to Treatment: STABLECAMP’s Role in Modernizing Wound Care through a Modified Multi-Platform RCT
11:00am – 11:20am

Speaker: David Simon, DPM

Location: Ziegfeld, 4th Floor

The STABLECAMP trial is a multicenter, prospective, randomized controlled study evaluating the treatment of non-healing diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs). STABLECAMP uses a modified multi-platform (Matriarch) design to compare the results of treating these wounds through standard of care (SOC) combined with multiple cellular, acellular, and matrix-like products (CAMPs) versus SOC alone. This adaptive platform enables comparative analysis across diverse graft technologies and supports the inclusion of additional CAMPs over time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Introduce the Matriarch Trial Design: Explain how the modified multi-platform structure enables efficient, head-to-head comparisons of multiple wound care technologies within a single study framework.
  • Highlight Clinical Relevance: Educate attendees on the burden of chronic DFUs and VLUs, especially in Medicare populations, and the need for scalable, evidence-based solutions.
  • Demonstrate Adaptive Research Strategies: Show how flexible trial designs can accelerate innovation and improve access to comparative effectiveness data.
  • Share Preliminary Insights: Present early findings or trends (if available) to spark discussion on product performance, healing rates, and operational feasibility.

Pre-registration is required for this workshop and can be done when registering for the NY26 Clinical Conference. If you are already registered for the NY26 Clinical Conference, you can log into your registration profile and add-on this optional workshop.
